This laptop-powered battlestation is clean and simple. Sitting on an adjustable stand, the laptop acts as a secondary monitor while simultaneously powering the setup. The minimalist approach and lack of RGB’s, microphones, headsets/phones turn this workstation into an uncluttered, efficient workspace, thus increasing productivity according to research. A setup like this might best be used as a semi-mobile workstation, as there’s no distracting peripherals or clutter to work around.

Nearly everything in this setup is portable. Need to go to school? Throw the laptop, stand, keyboard, mouse, and speaker in a bag and become mobile. Reconnect the monitor to the laptop with the USB C hub adapter when you get back home, and you’ve got your battlestation back online.

If you have a laptop, you might as well get a stand for it and incorporate it into your setup for that battlestation vibe. If you have no other PC aside from a laptop/MacBook, a USB C Hub Adapter comes in handy to mirror/extend the screen onto another monitor. The laptop stand and hub adapter is a great combination for a mobile workstation. Take your laptop to school/work, come home and set it on the stand and plug it in for a dual-monitor display at your desk.
